Variation of BCP ellipticities in the course of the pericyclic and pseudopericyclic [2Â +Â 2] cycloaddition reactions of cumulenes

Based on the AIM calculated BCP ellipticity profiles along the reaction paths, four criteria for differentiation between pericyclic and pseudopericyclic reactions were proposed.
