Photoemission microspectroscopy and imaging of bilayer islands formed in monolayer titanyl phthalocyanine films

Micro-UPS (0.3 μm resolution) for OTiPc film on HOPG revealed that islands of metastable bilayer film (point 2) were formed in areas of monolayer film (point 1). Difference between the present metastable bilayer and the well-annealed bilayer film was discussed from the spectra.
