Efficiency of the plasmon-mediated enhancement of photoexcitation of adsorbate on nm-sized metal particles

We estimate the relative intensities of light absorption by plasmons and adsorbed particles in the case when the photon frequency is distributed over an interval which is wider than the plasmon dumping width.
