Novel feature of quantum transport through conducting bridge: Correlation between surface disorder and bulk disorder

A novel transport phenomenon is observed through a conductor of finite size with surface disorder in which the current amplitude increases with the increase of the surface disorder strength in the strong disorder regime, while, the current amplitudes decreases in the weak disorder regime.
