Cathodoluminescence imaging and spectroscopy on a single multiwall boron nitride nanotube

Cathodoluminescence imaging and spectroscopy experiments on a single bamboo-like boron nitride nanotube are reported. Imaging experiments combined with transmission electron microscopy show that the luminescence is located all along the nanotube.
