Theoretical study on the noble-gas anions F−(NgO)n (Ng = He, Ar, and Kr)

The fluoride ion can induce the formation of relatively strong bonding between noble gas (Ng) and oxygen atoms. Several NgO units can be formed simultaneously around the anion.
