On the question of the ratio between diffusion coefficients of radical ions and their parent molecules in solution

An enhancement of the diffusion of triptycene molecule after its ionization observed in liquid hexadecane suggests the importance of fast stochastic charge redistribution within the radical ion for its diffusion.
