Highly efficient sharp red electroluminescence from europium complex-doped poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) devices

The present work exhibits that a now europium complex containing bromine groups and its doped devices with poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) blend. The devices emitted bright sharp red emissions at 612 nm with a maximum external quantum efficiency of 1.4% at 1.5 mA/cm2 and a peak luminance of 278 cd/m2 at 50.0 mA/cm2.
