Excitation energy migration between elongated fluorophores in uniaxially oriented polyvinyl alcohol films

Förster type multistep energy migration between identical fluorophores (D) is studied in ordered and disordered polymeric films. Relative emission anisotropy decays yield completely different results for both systems. Quantitative discussion on these results is made based on the Monte-Carlo method.
