The excited triplet state absorption spectrum of a self-assembled dimer of tri-tert-butylpyridinotribenzotetraazaporphinatozinc, (ZnPcPy)2, exhibits two sharp absorption bands in the Q band region, which is the first Q band observation of the excited triplet phthalocyanine dimer.
