Morphology and properties of a polyrotaxane based on γ-cyclodextrin and a polyfluorene copolymer

In order to compare the electro-optical and morphological properties induced by the rotaxane architectures when γCD is used as host macrocycle, a rotaxane copolymer poly[2,7-(9,9-dioctylfluorene)-alt-2,7-fluorene/γCD)] (PF-γCD) and a non complexed reference copolymer (PF) were synthesized by Suzuki coupling.
