Bonding trends in MCH2 systems: Simple orbital interpretation and evidence for double bonds

B3LYP calculations at relativistic pseudopotential or full-Dirac level are reported for 44 species of type MCH2 between Z = 19 and Z = 111 to obtain material for double-bond covalent radii.
