Photodissociation dynamics of nitrotoluene at 193 and 248Â nm: Direct observation of OH formation

On photoexcitation of ortho-nitrotoluene at 193 and 248 nm OH(v″, J″) is generated after intramolecular H atom transfer from the methyl group to the O atom of the nitro group.
