Curvature effects of nitrogen on graphitic sheets: Structures and energetics

In accordence with the experimental observations, Pulsed Vapour Deposition method, a correlation of Nitrogen concentration and curvature in the graphitic ring was observed. Using Density functional tight binding method, this phenomenon was studied and simulation results suggest that Nitrogen induce a negative curvature in the graphitic system.
