Single-walled carbon nanotubes with DNA recognition

Two methods for attaching DNA to the tips of oxidised single-walled carbon nanotubes are presented, and the sites of attachment are verified by binding gold nanoparticles with DNA of complementary sequence to the DNA-modified nanotubes, and imaging with TEM.
