On the cleavage process of the N-trifluoromethylsulfonyloxy-1,8-naphthalimide photoacid generator

This Letter revisits and clarifies the photocleavage mechanism of N-trifluoromethylsulfonyloxy-1,8-naphthalimide on the basis of several convergent experimental results.
