Modification for spin-adapted version of configuration interaction singles with perturbative doubles

Plots of the two lowest singlet excitation energies (in eV) of cytosine: red for π-π∗ type and blue for n-π∗ type. The cc-pVDZ basis set was used in a series of calculations by CIS, CIS(D), modified CIS(D) and EOMCCSD methods.
