Synthesis, enhanced stability and structural imaging of C60 and C70 double-wall carbon nanotube peapods

C60-filled double-wall carbon nanotubes (DWNTs) show a higher thermal stability than pristine DWNTs in TGA, indicating a high filling ratio of 74.7 wt% for the C60-DWNT-peapods.
