pH-Dependent formation of boehmite (γ-AlOOH) nanorods and nanoflakes

Under hydrothermal conditions, we prepared γ-AlOOH 1D nanorods and 2D nanoflakes by pH control. One possible mechanism for the formation of these materials was proposed.
