Tunable photoluminescence for a novel silver-gold mixed metal system

We report results from a series of single crystals, La[AgxAu1−x(CN)2]3, with x = 1, 0.9, 0.5, 0. The emission energies in these systems can be tuned by varying the excitation wavelength, the temperature, and the Ag/Au ratio. The inset figure shows the emission for the series in order from left to right.
