Size-dependent melting properties of tin nanoparticles

Different sized tin nanoparticles were synthesized by the chemical reduction method. Differential scanning calorimetry results showed that the melting point of the synthesized Sn nanoparticles depended nonlinearly on the particle radius, which were in reasonable agreement with Lai et al. model.
