Phase manipulation of continuum generation and stimulated Raman scattering in ethanol

By tailoring the spectral phase of a femtosecond pulse which is weakly focused into a solution it is possible to tune continuum generation in the solvent so as to excite a dye molecule dissolved in the solution.
