Trapping and hopping of polaron in DNA periodic stack

The polaron motion is greatly influenced by the arrangement of base pairs. The polaron would hop far quickly along the DNA stack, in which the two different base pairs arrange alternatively. The detailed tunneling process of the polaron is plotted.
