Thermochromism in sodium-loaded zeolite FAU(1.25)

It was found that the Na-loaded Na-ion type zeolite FAU(1.25) exhibits a novel thermochromism above room temperatures. As a possible mechanism responsible for this phenomenon, a conversion between two types of cluster, energetically competing in the crystal, with temperature was proposed.
