Electron field emission of carbon nanotubes on carbon felt

This letter proposes a composite of carbon nanotubes/felt as interesting approach to future development of emission devices. The emission current versus voltage were studied for different amount of CNT mounted on the felt. Electron field emission was observed at a macroscopic field as low as 0.45 V μm−1.
