Simultaneous estimation of T1 and the flip angle in hyperpolarized NMR experiments using acquisition at non-regular time intervals

► Accurate estimates of T1 and flip angle in solution-state hyperpolarized samples. ► Uses nonlinear sampling to remove correlation between T1 and α. ► T1 estimates were in excellent agreement with inversion-recovery result. ► With linear sampling, apparent T1 was artifactually lower.
