Visualization and characterization of pure and coupled modes in water-based dielectric resonators on a human 7T scanner

► Several modes of water-based dielectric resonators can be visualized at 7T. ► Experimental and simulation results show very good agreement. ► Mode coupling between resonators has been studied. ► The lowest order mode can be used for efficient imaging of large samples.
