Quantification of superparamagnetic iron oxide with large dynamic range using TurboSPI

► High temporal resolution relaxation rate mapping with single-point imaging. ► Automatic calibration aligns stimulated echoes to improve image quality. ► Suitable for preclinical imaging, with demonstration of rat imaging in vivo. ► SPIO-loaded C3 cancer cells show static dephasing behavior, MPIO particles do not. ► Quantification of loaded cells is possible at clinically relevant concentrations.
