► We study QUantitative Cross-Polarization (QU-CP) under the moderate MAS speed. ► We examine its two building blocks. ► NI-CP is conveniently used for 1H-13C polarization transfer. ► We study equalization of 13C magnetizations by DARR, PARIS, PARISxy, and SHANGHAI. ► SHANGHAI gives the best performance.
