Fast magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) using wavelet encoding and parallel imaging: In vitro results

► This new spectroscopic imaging technique combines wavelet encoding with parallel imaging. ►This technique further reduces acquisition time and minimizes the SNR loss. ► Phantom results show that this method reduces acquisition time with minimal voxel contamination. ► Folding effect at low resolution is reduced because of the use of wavelet encoding. ► This is a promising MRSI technique since it is quick, accurate, reliable and consistent.
