Isolated and deposited potassium clusters: Energetic and structural properties

► The global minimum structures of KN (N = 2-20) have been determined. ► Energetic and the structural properties change upon the deposition on potassium surface. ► The total energy decrease upon deposition on K(110) surface compare to K(100) surface.
