Enhancing electrocatalytic total water splitting at few layer Pt-NiFe layered double hydroxide interfaces

Hydrothermally tailored NiFe LDH crystalline sheets have shown pronounced OER catalytic performance than the simple co-precipitated NiFe LDH. Further by tethering Pt NPs onto those crystalline sheets of NiFe LDH, the total water splitting catalytic activity was highly enhanced without losing the stability.320
