Note on choice of space dependent applied magnetic field in MHD stretching flows

In the present communication anomalies associated with the choice of space dependent applied magnetic field are pointed out in some recent studies. It is explicitly shown that the random choice results in the violation of the Maxwell's equations. A remedy is also proposed to avoid such inconsistencies in the future.
