Christina Dempsey, MSN, MBA, RN, CNOR, CENP, FAAN

Christina (Christy) Dempsey, MBA, MSN, RN, has been a nurse for over 30 years. Christy has held a variety of positions within nursing, including clinical and operational leadership positions. Christy transitioned to health care consulting in 2007, and in 2012, she became the first chief nursing officer at Press Ganey. Christy serves as a professor at Missouri State University and teaches in the leadership and management in the nursing department. Christy is beginning work on her DNP in population health in the Fall of 2017. Christy and her husband reside in Springfield, Missouri, and she values the time she is able to spend with her family when not travelling for work with clients. Her first book, The Antidote to Suffering: How Compassionate, Connected Care Can Improve Safety, Quality, and Experience, is planned to be released in the Fall of 2017. Christy serves as a professor at Missouri State University's Nursing Department teaching Nursing Leadership and Management.
