Controlling the selectivity to N2O over Pt/Ba/Al2O3 NOX storage/reduction catalysts

N2O formation during the reduction process over NSR catalysts is analysed in this paper. The effect of catalyst characteristics and different operation parameters (chemical nature of the reductant, temperature and cycle timing) are addressed and discussed in terms of N2O selectivity.
