Serum High-Sensitive C-Reactive Protein Level and CRP Genetic Polymorphisms Are Associated with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

Serum hsCRP may be related to the presence of AAA and abdominal aorta diameter. Genetic polymorphisms in CRP gene could influence the concentration of serum hsCRP and the likelihood of AAA, but the causal relationship between AAA and CRP should be demonstrated further.
