Extracranial carotid artery stenosis and outcomes of patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement

CAS was not associated with worse outcomes following TAVR. The relative prognostic significance of CAS in patients considered for either surgical or transcatheter valve replacement merits further research.
