Opportunités et contributions des formations à distance via Internet : exemple des programmes e-diabète et m-diabète en Afrique

In Africa, facing the exponential progression of non-communicable diseases, and diabetes in particular, the training needs of health workers are immense, as are the educational needs of patients, populations at risk, and of the general population. Is Internet a part of the solution? If the first answers to this question, based on several years of training of professionals and interaction with the populations are encouraging, the benefit still needs to be confirmed. Some countries, Senegal in particular, try to answer these questions.
