Promouvoir l'adhésion à un programme de rééducation cardiovasculaire pour favoriser l'éducation du patient cardiaque âgé. Place de l'activité physique adaptée basée sur le Qi Gong
چکیده انگلیسی
Therapeutic patient education has been an integral part of cardiovascular rehabilitation programs in recent years, its objective is to change behaviors including levels of lifestyle and dietary habits. We note that there are limitations to the transmission of information according to the patients; this is particularly true in the case of older heart patients for which the therapeutic discourse on continued physical activity, seems inappropriate. This study show that facilitate adherence of older patients in a cardiovascular rehabilitation program with an adapted physical activity such as Qi Gong, improve physical function of patients and therefore confidence in their abilities to make efforts and promotes the pursuit of a physical practice. So we studied the impact of Qi Gong of 47 elderly cardiac patients at the end of rehabilitation and 4 years later. We found that the Qi Gong increased functional capacity and self-esteem at the end of rehabilitation patients, and keep a good “self-esteem” and a sufficient level of physical expenses, 4 years after the end of the cardiac rehabilitation. We retain that cardiovascular rehabilitation must promote adherence of older patients to physical effort, to allow a belief in their ability to do something, and continue their daily physical practices.
