In the Emergency Department it is of primary importance to identify the patient with an acute coronary syndrome, assess their risk and administer treatment as promptly as possible to relieve myocardial ischaemia and reduce the possible complications associated with this disease. In this protocol we will review the key points in the management of the ACSSTE patient as they pass through the Emergency Department.
