Association Between Body Mass Index and Mildly Decreased Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate in Chinese Adults With Early Chronic Kidney Disease

There was a positive relationship between BMI and mildly decreased eGFR among Chinese adults. Higher BMI may play a role in the onset and progression of renal damage, and maintaining a BMI in the healthy range may be contributed to the prevention of chronic kidney disease.
