In nAMD, SHRM can be categorized as vascular and avascular by quantitative OCTA analysis. Vascular SHRM persisted after treatment and was associated with failure to achieve dry macula, suggesting that vascular SHRM is predictive of lower response to anti-VEGF therapy.
