Histological, immunohistochemical features and pathogenesis of pseudoangiosarcomatous urothelial carcinoma

- Pseudoangiomatous pattern is a rare and aggressive pattern in urothelial carcinoma.
- Tumour necrosis was present in all cases, accompanied by edema, bleeding and inflammatory infiltration in the tumour stroma and lysis and discohesion of tumoral cells due to ischemia.
- Tumoral cells showing this pattern were positive for GATA-3 but negative for vascular markers such as CD34 and CD31.
