Announcement of the diagnosis remains a crucial step in cancer care. Due to three successive Cancer plans : poly- disciplinary staff reviewing all cancer's case, cancers'announcement improving, personalized course of care, supportive care, “after cancer” life support, promotion of cancer research and inclusions in clinical trials, setting up reviews of morbidity and mortality in each oncology unit have been implemented in France. Coordination centers of oncology are the key centers of the national structure of cancer care in France : prevention, screening, creation of a French National Cancer Institute, regional networks, authorization of activities for public or private hospitals, and for medical doctors.
