Anti-inflammatory effects of trans-1,3-diphenyl-2,3-epoxypropane-1-one mediated by suppression of inflammatory mediators in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages

► We study the anti-inflammatory effect of DPEP in LPS-activated RAW 264.7 cells. ► DPEP inhibited production of NO, PGE2, and pro-inflammatory cytokines and levels of iNOS and COX-2. ► Moreover, DPEP exhibited anti-inflammatory properties by suppression of NF-κB and MPAKs pathways.
