Analgesic potential of intrathecal farnesyl thiosalicylic acid and GW 5074 in vincristine-induced neuropathic pain in rats

► Farnesyl thiosalicylic acid is Ras and GW 5074 is selective c-Raf1 inhibitor. ► Vincristine administration for 10 days produced hyperalgesia and allodynia. ► Intrathecal delivery of farnesyl thiosalicylic acid and GW 5074 attenuated pain. ► Ras and c-Raf-1 may serve as potential targets for neuropathic pain management.
