Combined treatment of HEDTA and propolis prevents aluminum induced toxicity in rats

► Combined treatment of HEDTA and propolis was explored to prevent aluminum induced toxicity in rats. ► A number of diagnostically important parameters have been considered to achieve the aim. ► Histological features of liver, kidney and brain were regained towards control after combined therapy. ► Combination of HEDTA and propolis has therapeutic value in preventing complications associated with aluminum toxicity.
