► Genotoxicity test of Low molecular weight fucoidan (LMF). ► LMF was determined not to be genotoxic under reverse mutation assay. ► LMF was determined not to be genotoxic under chromosomal aberrations assay. ► LMF was determined not to be genotoxic under mouse micronucleus assay. ► Use of LMF is presently expected to be safe in the genotoxicity assays.
