Combining gene expression microarray- and cluster analysis with sequence-based predictions to identify regulators of IL-13 in allergy

► We identified new transcription factors (CEBPB & E2F6) for the regulation of IL13. ► Knockdown of CEBPB and E2F6 in T cells suggested an inhibitory function for IL13. ► Measurement in allergen-challenged T cells from patients confirmed inhibitory role.
