The effects of IL-17 upon human natural killer cells

► Different forms of IL-17 were tested for their effects on human natural killer cells. ► IL-17A increased NK cell number and cytotoxic function; IL-17D increased the latter. ► IL-17RC was detectable intracellularly in NK cells but not at the cell surface. ► IL-17s have slight stimulatory effects on human NK cells.
